Cathy Bodinof begins work as full-time program coordinator

Cathy Bodinof began work at the first of August as Wahsega's full-time Program Coordinator. Cathy will oversee the 4-H Environmental Education program at Wahsega and customer service for weekend conference groups. Cathy served as an Environmental Education Instructor at Wahsega for three seasons before starting the new job. She has a bachelors in Environmental Science from Georgetown College in Kentucky.

After college in addition to working at Wahsega, Cathy served as an educator in a variety of outdoor education programs including McConnell Springs in Kentucky, Western Arctic Park Lands in Alaska and Green River Preserve in western North Carolina.

Between July and December of 2003, Cathy completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. It was during this experience that she became determined to serve in outdoor and environmental education as her life's work.
