Trip Preparation Check-Off List
We recognize that getting your Cloverleaf campers here for camp takes a lot of planning. In this section, we've included a checklist of a few of the items that you will need to take care of before getting here. If you have questions, feel free to contact us.
- Read the Cloverleaf Camp Trip Planning Guide on the Cloverleaf Camp Staff-Only website.
- Make transportation arrangements to camp
Note: Buses for off-site venues are provided by Wahsega 4-H Center. No buses are needed from the visiting counties. - Plan a Parent Meeting about the trip
- Host the Parent Meeting
- Recruit chaperones
- Designate an emergency contact person (who does not go on the trip, but who can contact us in an emergency)
- Collect money
- Make requests for special services or meals for members with special dietary needs
- Plan a Certified Overnight Chaperone Training event if needed
- Host the Certified Overnight Chaperone Training
- Go over the "Information For Parents & Youth" document with parents and club members.
- Place orders for T-shirts.
- Plan to arrive around 1:00 p.m.
- Collect paperwork from campers
- Copy the front pages of the paperwork for Wahsega's records
